From Waste to Worth: A First Look at Our Upcycled Collection

With our workshop at Jesus Village now operational, our focus has shifted to the art of transformation. We are currently developing a line of products that prove discarded materials can be turned into items of lasting value. Our goal is to create souvenirs and keychains that do more than just represent a cause; we want them to be high-quality products that customers are proud to own.

Symbols of Faith and Heritage

Our initial production runs have focused on plastic and aluminum keychains. We have started with two symbols that are deeply meaningful to our community: the cross and the fish. These shapes reflect the foundation of the Green Bethel Community and the spirit of Jesus Village.

In addition to these, we are developing samples that celebrate the beauty of Cambodia. We have successfully created outlines of Angkor Wat, capturing the iconic silhouette of the national heart of this country. By using plastic and aluminum sourced directly from the local area, we are literally turning the city’s waste into a tribute to its heritage.

Precision Through Technology

While our mission is grounded in manual labor and local jobs, we believe in using the best tools available to ensure quality. To help us move from simple shapes to intricate designs, we have added a 3D printer to our workshop.

The 3D printer allows us to:

Ensure Durability: By prototyping, we can ensure the structural integrity of every keychain, making sure it is a lasting item rather than a temporary trinket.

Create Accurate Prototypes: We can test different thicknesses, textures, and details before starting a full production run.

Refine Detail: It allows us to create molds and samples with a level of precision that makes our souvenirs feel professional and “retail-ready.”
